Alamosa Housing Authority
This board exercises public powers and has all the powers necessary tor convenient to carry out and effectuate the purposes and provisions of the housing authorities law. The Alamosa Housing Authority is a Public Housing Agency that participates in Public Housing and voucher programs. Though a separate legal entity, per statute, the Mayor or City Council appoints board members. City Council has elected to appoint members to this board in the same as any regular city advisory board or committee.
Alamosa Housing Authority is a Public Housing Agency that participates in the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), and Public Housing programs.
